Common Issues with Patreon
Patreon is a platform that helps creators get monetary support. Because the platform doesn't allow very good integration, there's often issues linking a SpicyChat.ai account and a Patreon account. Here are a few tips to avoid these issues.
Make sure you register a SpicyChat.ai account before you purchase on Patreon. If you have an account on both platforms with the same email, linking them is done automatically when you purchase and there are no issues.
If you haven't created your account first, or if you use a different email on both platforms, we'll email you with the subject Thanks for your Support - Action Required. If you don't get that email, look for it in your junk/spam folder, it contains a link to follow that allows linking both accounts and configure your new permissions seamlessly.
If you are using Apple Sign In and have chosen "Hide My Email", we will not be able to send you any email, only Patreon messaging system will work to communicate with you using that anonymous relay email. In this case, contact us through Patreon messaging system, through Discord or through our Support form.
If you have received a confirmation email Thanks for your Support! or Your account is now linked and you are having issues, try to log out and sign back in, this will make sure your new permissions will be refreshed.
