paintbrushCreators

Creators are at the heart of SpicyChat. Every character on the platform β€” every personality, every story, every quirky companion β€” was built by someone in our community. As a creator, you have the freedom to design the chatbots you want to see and share them with everyone else.

This section covers everything you need to make the most of being a creator: sharing your work, getting recognized for it, and tracking how your characters are doing.

Sharing your characters with the community

Once you've published a character, the fastest way to find an audience is to share it where other creators and fans already hang out. We have two community spaces dedicated to exactly that:

Sharing is also one of the best ways to improve. Other creators will tell you what's working, what's confusing, and what they'd love to see β€” feedback that's hard to get from your dashboard alone.

Tips for characters people love

  • Write a detailed personality with strong, specific traits β€” not just "she's nice."

  • Craft a great opening greeting that hooks the user from message one.

  • Add a few example dialogues to set the tone and voice.

  • Pick an avatar that stands out in the browse grid.

For the full walkthrough, see Creating Chatbots.

Creator profiles

Every creator has a profile page that lists all of their public characters in one place. To visit one, just click a creator's name anywhere it appears on a character card. It's a great way to find more bots from someone whose style you like β€” and a great reason to keep building your own catalog, since fans of one of your characters can easily find the rest.

What's next for creators

We're working on more tools for creators β€” including the ability to follow your favorites and get notified when they release something new, plus a few other features we're not quite ready to talk about yet.

  • Creators Leaderboard β€” our monthly recognition (and rewards) for top creators.

  • Creator Analytics β€” your private dashboard for seeing how your characters are performing.
